The customer has the ability to request a password reset for themselves if they have a valid email account in the ATS store.
As another option, anyone with Admin access to Big Commerce can force the customer to change their password on their next login.
To do this, follow these instructions.
1. Log in to Big Commerce.
2. From the menu panel on the side, expand the carrot under customers.
3. Click on View.
4. Be sure "All Customers" is selected.
5. Type any part of the name in the "Filter by Keyword" box.
6. Click on the descending three lines to bring up the results.
In our example we want to see the account for EZ Diagnostics, and specifically for Eric Ziegler.
7. Any customers associated with that account will come up.
This would be an effective way to access the account if, for example, you could not remember if Ziegler was spelled with an "ie", or "ei" or simply just with an "i".
8. If you knew the correct spelling, you could also just type "Ziegler" into the search criteria and click the three lines.
10. A number of options are available to change here.
When you make a change in eCommerce, please remember that an integration will run and the account will be updated in Salesforce as well.
