What is on the Sourcing/Customer Service Dashboard?

Updated on

This document will give you an overview of how the Sourcing/Customer Service Dashboard works for processing Capability and Sourcing Requests.

1. As with all of your Dashboards, begin by going to dashboards in the main menu.

2. Enter "Sourcing" in either of the two search fields and click the magnifying glass for results.

3. Select Sourcing-Customer Service Dashboard from the results that populate.

If you choose to search from the dashboard search tool, you will see all the Sourcing Dashboards for all the teams.

4. As with all dashboards, you should begin by clicking the refresh button to see the most current data.

5. The first window in the upper left will show you NEW C&S requests.

  • By default, they are sorted by the number of hours open, with the most current on top.
  • NEW requests are requests that no one has started the process for yet.
  • Note that in the far left column there is a Hot Order checkbox, which can be different than the hours open.
  • As always, anything that is in blue is a hyperlink.  In this window, you can hyperlink into the actual Capability Request to start working it, or the Account, or the Rep.
  • And finally, if you wanted to see a complete list of the New Requests, you would go to the Report that is at the bottom of the window.

6. The first thing that a CSR does when they start to work the Request is mark it Data Validation in Process.  The middle left window shows the requests that are in that state.

  • The same sorting rules apply
  • Notice that there is now a column for the Product.  This is because this is done during the data validation process as well.

7. If the item needs to be sourced, it will show in the bottom panel.

  • All of the options discussed previously remain the same.

8. And finally, the Open Sourcing Requests is helpful for a snapshot of where things stand in the process.

  • When you hover over the number, it gives you an opportunity to take you into the report.
  • From here, you can click on the Capability Request number if you want further Details.

Please note:  If you wish to have additional views or different information on the Dashboard, please work with the CSR Supervisor to have additions or modifications made.  We want the dashboards to work in a way that is easiest for you.
