RMA stands for Return Material Authorization and is the next step in the process once the customer has decided to proceed with the Repair.

1. Find the quote.  This can be done a number of different ways:

1.1. Search by entering Quote # in search field if you know the Quote #

1.2. Search by going into “Quotes” tab

1.3. Search by going into “Opportunities” tab

2. Click on the Quote Number.

In this instance, we searched for the quote by going into the Quotes tab.

3. Click on Edit Lines.

3.1. This will take you to the raw quotes screen.

4. Click on the carrot next to the line.

5. This will take you to the line detail.

6. Enter the ASTEA Job #/RMA into the "Order Number Field.

7. Click Save.

8. In the quote details screen, go into the "Status" drop-down and update the status from "Approved" to "Presented" and save.

9. Preview the document.

10. The RMA number will now be on the .PDF quote.

11. You will need to resend the quote in order for them to have that order number on their quote.

12. In the "quote details" view, take the ASTEA job # and add it to the "Quote Name" field.

The ASTEA Job # is now searchable in the Salesforce search field.
