As we have mentioned in other articles, there are integrations continually running between Salesforce and Big Commerce (the software that runs the ATS Store) to update information in the two systems. However, there may be times when you wish to actually log in to the customer's account in the ATS Store to see what they are actually seeing. This is easy to do if you follow the steps below.
If you don't have access to the Big Commerce Admin Portal, you can simply log into the ATS Store (buy.advancedtech.com) with your normal credentials for the store and you should see all your "customers" as is described in Screen Shot #*8.
If you are missing a customer from your list of accounts or need assistance with logging into any of the software here, please contact [email protected].
2. From the navigation panel on the left, choose Customers and then View.
3. Type in the name of the CSR.
4. Click the three descending lines to load your options.
5. Select the proper record for the CSR.
6. Click on the three dots under Action.
7. Choose Login.
Depending on the number of accounts associated with your record, it could take a minute to load.
8. You will be brought up to the dashboard screen.
Note that on this page, it shows you that Lisa is logged in. She has access to 2365 accounts, and you have the ability to search for a specific account and log in as that account.
9. In the Search Company Name/Email box, enter the name (or part of the name) of the company you wish to view.
10. The results filter to that account.
12. At this point, you can see the screen changes. At the top, there is a message telling you that you are now viewing as that customer.
13. The Log Out button is present. This will log out Westside and return Lisa to the Dashboard.
From here, you can place an order, view their orders, etc. It is basically the same as if the customer is logged in at this point.
- Once you have completed your business, be sure to log out.
- If you are working on multiple accounts in one setting, you may want to clear your cache in between logging in as different customers. This is a good solution if you find that data is not clearing between one login to the next.
