eCommerce / ATS Store / buy.advancedtech.com / Big Commerce: For the purpose of these articles, these are all the same.
buy.advancedtech.com is the url for the online ATS store. This store is hosted on the Big Commerce platform. The generic term for shopping online is eCommerce.
A few people (Supervisors, Pricing Analysts, Admins, etc) will have access to the Big Commerce Admin portal. The Admin panel allows you easily manage products, pricing, and more advanced order details. It is from the Big Commerce Admin Panel that the supervisor goes in and captures credit card funds once the order is ready to ship.
B2B is an App that works in conjunction with Big Commerce to allow our Sales Reps / Site Service Reps / FMS Buyers and basically anyone else who is buying for multiple companies to do so.

Ava Tax is the software company that ensures the correct Tax information is processed for the customer.
Salesforce is the system that handles all the Account Management.
Orders and Quotes can be created through an integration from eCommerce or can be directly created in Salesforce. Although the integration will move most of the information over, there are certain fields that must be set manually in order for the systems to "talk" back and forth properly.
There are many documents to walk you through how quotes and orders work, including what happens when changes are made to price or quantity, or even what happens when the customer needs to cancel some or part of the order.
